The story

First a stable. Then Luisa's house.

The name came from the village. People in Campora have called the building this for years.

First a stable. Then Luisa's house.

The name of the house

Luisa's stable

In the local dialect: "La Stala dala Luisa"

The lower floor once held the stables; the haylofts were above.

“The house stands in Campora's old village, where no cars pass through.”

After her father Giovanni died, Luisa inherited the stable and hayloft. In the village it became known as Luisa's stable, a name that has lasted.

The renovation was completed at the end of 2025. The stone walls stayed in place and many original materials were reused. The apartment now has underfloor heating, a complete kitchen and the practical comforts needed for a stay in the valley.
